We've just had the easiest service in the years we've owned a caravan thanks to the excellent service provided by Tom and DTH.He came as arranged and not only serviced the van also did a full fluid change of the Alde heating.Even in these most troubled times Tom was very careful and meticulous in social distancing and sanitizing was he worked around the van both inside and out.We too booked for him to do next years service. Tom managed to do my service only one month late due to Covid-19. He was very professional in his approach to the new way of working. He used different gloves for inside and outside jobs and wore a mask too. The only downside was the lack of social interaction we normally enjoy. Booked for next year, wouldn't use anyone else as long as Tom is trading. Excellent service as usual. Can't wait to get out now.
DTH were recommended to us by a family member, and I can see why. A phone call a few days before from Tom to answer any questions I might have and regular text messages on the day with his expected ETA. For anyone wondering what a full service consists of then I thoroughly recommend Tom, he was happy for me to watch and talked me through everything he did. I was certainly surprised to see how much is actually checked. Really knowledgeable and and professional and a good laugh too. It was also nice to see that precautions were being taken in light of the current situation too, social distancing was maintained and gloves and wipes used to ensure the risk was minimised. Tom was also happy to offer his advice on the best ways to look after the caravan during the lock-down to help maintain its condition. Great job, needless to say I too have booked for next year.

Having serviced our vans for a number of years now i would recommend Tom and DTH, who without a doubt are true professionals. 1st class service by a great bloke who is very knowledgeable, thorough and with genuine prices. Had a full service on a van that I have bought as a project. Tom gave me invaluable advice and came back and repaired my water heater, carried out a really tricky cooker grill replacement and kindly replaced one of the towing lights. I would highly recommend Tom and the service he provides. Neat and tidy worker too :-)

I have been having major problems with the refrigerator in my Autotrail. Having spoken to various people about the problem it was looking as though a new refrigerator was needed at a price in excess of £1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. However once Tom took a look he found it was a broken wire. WHAT A GENIUS.

If you want a no nonsense professional service carried out in a friendly way then Tom is your man.
Tom came and serviced my motorhome today at my home address. My first home service by DTH. Tom solved a problem with my charging unit which the dealer had failed to correct last year when I took it back for what I was told was a faulty battery! He carried out a thorough professional check and diagnosis of our habitation area pointing out areas that needed attention where necessary. I've had caravans and motorhomes for over 30 years and would recommend his services to anyone.
Just remembered this part of the site. Had my van serviced on the 7th March by Tom. Was happy to talk through what he was doing and why, did a very thorough job and I was more than pleased with what was done. He did find some minor damp I did not know about and we have arranged a mutual time when we hope to sort it later in the season, i.e. when it is warmer and dryer to remove a window to renew the seal. He did and extra job I requested with the cable connectors to the car so I do not need the adaptor to go from two cables to one and that saved my money from what I was quoted from a previous service. All in all I would recommend him to anyone. (though not too many as he may not be available when I need him next time)I will be using Tom again.
Just spent a very nice afternoon with Tom whilst he serviced my caravan, he serviced my caravan on my drive where before I have always took it to a dealer which is over 20 miles away, he is very good at his job and knowledgeable about caravans, he found two faults with my caravan, one he repaired at no extra charge and the other was a tyre with cracks in the wall, I will using Tom (DTH) again.
Just had my third service by Tom. I've had dealers and other mobiles but Tom is the best by far. He cares about his customers and their vans alike. He is willing to explain proceduures as he is doing them. He is thorough and I believe does things others don't bother with. Prices are competative and fair and he will explain procedures and why he does them willingly. I have learned a lot from Tom in the three visits and will continue to use and recomend him to others. Use this man he goes the extra mile to satisfy and keep repeat custom. He not only services the van but tells you things you can do for yourself to help maintain the van until next service. I hope you can tell I'm very happy with DTH.

DTH were recommended to us when we were experiencing problems with our then new Swift 630 Conqueror. 3 different service agents couldn't get to the bottom of the problem and swift kindly allowed DTH (Tom) to look at it for us. This resulted in a stuborn problem being diagnosed in one visit and resolved in a second once parts became available. After this we insisted that Tom looked after our van and Swift allowed warranty work to be done as well. trouble free caravaning at last. I would highly recommend Tom, for his professionalism, 'right first time' quality work, and very reasonably priced, personable service. He always has time for advise, on his last visit on a nice seasonal site! Extra mile stuff. We had our service done only a few days ago and as always, no drama's.
DTH Caravan Services was recommended to me by a fellow motorhome owner when I encountered problems with my motorhome ( RAPIDO 903 ) electrics.
I telephoned Tom Harman of DTH, who was extremely helpful. Tom gave me sound advice / guidance which resulted in me being able to trace the problem myself ( a faulty leisure battery )
Tom's approach is clearly to help the customer, even though, on this occasion, it did not result in any business for him.
I have since used Tom for the annual habitation service and damp condition report on my motorhome, which was completed, by appointment, on my driveway, in a very prompt, thorough and professional manner.
Tom has also assisted with advice and the supply of a technical report in connection with a warranty issue / dispute relating to my van. His expert knowledge and advice proved invaluable and was provided without charge.
In summary, a top man who clearly 'knows his stuff' and is committed to customer care. Highly recommended !
